Longterm personal project of mine to experiment with, learn new things, hone my skills. No greater goal, just a sandbox I get to use for practice. Evolved around my interests in police work, my countries (queer) history and - of course - dogs.
Set in modern day Frankfurt, aging in real time, the three central characters are what I like to call "morally complex" lol They're neither evil nor are they corrupt, rather this story is focussed on how police work in itself attracts and produces what many people like to call "a few bad apples".
Alois Heyde
A rich kid who became a police officer to "do good & help people" while severly lacking empathy for anyone he can't relate to. Insufferably charismatic, an overworked & always tired workaholic who's also struggling with depression and substance abuse.
Rahim Heyde
A hopeless romantic who's got a lot of issues with his masculinity. Hard working, ambitious and a never satisfied perfectionist. Outwards an arrogant asshole to strangers, deep down severely insecure, can't take a joke at his expense and is easily offended.
Olga Volkova
A seasoned police officer with a tendency for violent behaviour, if her opponent qualifies as what she'd consider "a challenge". She's blunt and ruthless but also an honest soul struggling to navigate societal norms and expectations.
